BDS (JCU)

Dr Cassia gained her Bachelor in Dental surgery in 2021 at James Cook University in Cairns. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has gentle approach with a strong focus on prevention of dental disease. She is dedicated to making every visit to the dentist as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Originally from the Northern Territory, Cassia has recently settled into Jamestown after travelling through South America and Asia. She enjoys pilates and is also a great baker.

Kristy brings warmth, compassion, and a good laugh to the dental team, helping patients feel comfortable every step of the way. She holds a Certificate III in Dental Assisting. Kristy has recently started playing golf, she also enjoys gardening and spending quality time with her family.

Chelsea is currently completing her traineeship in Dental Assisting. She will be completing her Certificate III in Dental Assisting through TAFE and is enjoying learning about dentistry. Chelsea grew up on a farm in Jamestown and loves animals. She has a sausage dog, called Archie, and recently got a pet rabbit. She has recently returned from a cruise around the Pacific and is already planning her next travel adventure.

You will find Melissa on the front desk at Jamestown Dental. Her friendly, welcoming smile will immediately put you at ease. She can help you with scheduling your appointment and any queries you might have. She has grown-up twin daughters and has recently become a Nanna.

Lauren is an experienced dental assistant who is calm and capable across a range of dental procedures. She is very organised and efficient and a valuable member of our team. She has a vast surgical experience and has completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting.

Outside of the clinic she has three lovely children who keep her busy with sports around Jamestown. She has lots of pets at home, ask her about her birds, chickens and dogs!

BDS, BScDent(Hons)

Dr Alex graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (Honours). Alex has already gained experience working regionally before joining Jamestown Dental. He also a dental tutor at Adelaide University.

Alex brings a passion for patient-centred care and a commitment to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Outside of dentistry, Alex enjoys keeping fit with running and weightlifting. Alex also enjoys travelling, most recently, he travelled through Vietnam and he is currently planning his next trip to Japan.

BDS (Adel)

Dr Yun Oh joined our practice in October 2025. She completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide and commenced work in private practice in Clare for several years before joining Jamestown Dental. She is a competent dentist dedicated to continuing to develop and expand her dental skills and knowledge. She is currently undertaking a fellowship in restorative dentistry through RIPE Global and will be travelling to India in the coming months to train further in endodontics and oral surgery.

Outside of dentistry Yun is a foodie and is an excellent cook. She makes incredible dumplings! She has recently taken up pottery and rock climbing and enjoys hanging out with her friends and travelling.

BDS (Adel)

Liz graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2009. She then started her career in private practice in Adelaide, gaining experience across all facets of general dentistry. Liz has also been involved with tutoring dental students at the University of Adelaide in clinic and laboratory sessions. After gaining extensive experience in private practice in Adelaide, Liz moved to Jamestown with her husband in 2014 and began working at Jamestown Dental.

Liz enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has particular interests in preventive dentistry as well as restorative dentistry. Liz is a member of both the Federal and South Australian Dental Associations (ADA and ADASA) and is committed to continuing to improve her skills and knowledge through continuing professional education. She has recently enrolled in a Fellowship of Restorative Dentistry through RIPE Global to further develop her skills in restoring decayed and worn down teeth.

Outside of dentistry, Liz enjoys keeping fit running and playing tennis and has recently retired from netball having played with the Jamestown Peterborough Magpies. She also enjoys cooking (and eating!) a variety foods, especially Asian and Italian cuisine. She loves spending time with her family including her sons, Oliver and Henry.
